NABCOP 2021 Impact Report

The NABCOP was a collaboration between the Association of Breast Surgery (ABS) and the Clinical Effectiveness Unit (CEU) of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS), and was commissioned by the Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP) as part of the National Clinical Audit and Patient Outcomes Programme (NCAPOP).

This report summarises the impact of the NABCOP of the year 2020/21, building on the audit’s work since 2016.

Specifically with regards to the following four levels:
• Evidence of national improvements in the quality and outcomes of care.
• Examples of how the project stimulates local quality improvement (QI).
• Stating how the project supports policy development & management of the system.
• Listing how the project is used by the public and the demand for it.
