NABCOP 2019 Annual Report

The National Audit of Breast Cancer in Older Patients (NABCOP) 2019 Annual Report was a collaboration between the Association of Breast Surgery (ABS) and the Clinical Effectiveness Unit (CEU) of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS), and was commissioned by the Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP) as part of the National Clinical Audit and Patient Outcomes Programme (NCAPOP).

This report presents the results from the prospective audit of women aged 50 years and over, diagnosed with breast cancer between 2014 and 2017, in England and Wales. Specifically it describes how patterns of care differ between women in the younger and older age groups.

This version (1.1) was released on 18 November 2019, and included a correction to Figure 7.9 in the early invasive breast cancer chapter on page 35.
