NABCOP 2018 Annual Report

The National Audit of Breast Cancer in Older Patients (NABCOP) 2018 Annual Report was a collaboration between the Association of Breast Surgery (ABS) and the Clinical Effectiveness Unit (CEU) of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS), and was commissioned by the Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP) as part of the National Clinical Audit and Patient Outcomes Programme (NCAPOP).

This report presents the results from the prospective audit of women, diagnosed with breast cancer between 2014 and 2016, in England and Wales. Specifically it describes how patterns of care differ between women in the younger and older age groups.

This version (1.1) was released on 13 July 2018, and included corrections to Table 7.1 in the Surgery chapter on page 42.

The Public and Patient version of this report is also available to download.
